I am COMPLETELY used to seeing my toes in my outfits again. It took a little while - and most importantly - the right bottoms and outfits to get me back into my comfort zone.

I probably won't be getting more sandals for a while, but I am loving the two pairs that I got and have worn them quite a bit. They are an excellent fit, look crisp, and are very comfy. As long as I wear them so that I don't feel cold - read, NOT in arctic a/c - I'm good to go.

They look great on you, Angie! Whoo hoo for style expansion.

Isn't it amazing how seriously the weather can affect our style? Several warmer than usual summers plus time away from AC for you have rekindled your warm feelings for sandals. A change in weather here (two cooler than usual summers in a row) allowed me to see that summer style could potentially be fun! And even though the weather is now more typical for our summers (very hot and humid) I am still enjoying summer style.

I love gladiators, and yours are fabulous.
I don't wear sandals because I like to feel protected from city grime and others' stomping feet. I don't wear slingbacks either. I have one pair of peep-toe, but I usually stay away from them, too.

Those sandals are really lovely, and you pair them with outfits beautifully! I totally agree on the AC issue...if my feet are even the least bit cold ALL of me is cold even if no one else is feeling it.

Your sandals look fashionable and comfortable. Our summer has been so hot and humid that I've been wearing sandals almost every day. But I'm with you, I do not like cold toes (or wet ones either), so on days like today when it's cool and rainy, it'll be one of my few no sandals days.

Seattle weather has been sandal weather and you look good in them.

I love the Topshop pair (that's what they are, right?) and have to admit that the other pair look far, far better on your feet than they do in the stock photo. I know you have been a big proponent of the style all summer, but I didn't "get it" until now. Very simple and classic. I'm ok with ac unless it's blowing right on my feet - like on an airplane when you are stuck in a window seat near a floor vent That is the WORST!

I just started wearing sandals again this year, too, after years without owning any. I'm not as good at keeping my nails polished and pretty as you are, but I'm still liking the look. There's something very breezy and carefree about heading out in a pair of sandals, don't you think?

Jenn, it was precisely that breeze on my feet that I didn’t enjoy! Too cold in Seattle. But now that it’s warmer, I know what you mean. We are BOTH back on Team Sandal.

Lisa, they’re Shelly Londons (not Topshop). The gladiators are trendy, while the Naturalizers are what I would describe as "very Euro". Modern Classic, comfortable and simple. It took the Naturalizers to break me into wearing the gladiators.

Lovely new sandals. Especially with that fun print peeking out in the photo. I also do not own a lot of sandals (one flat, one wedge, and one high heel) despite months of hot weather in my area.

I'm glad you're wearing sandals again! I wish I could wear mine more often, but the combination of working in a lab+walking around a lot has led to me wearing sneakers or oxfords (sometimes perforated oxfords) most of the time, except on weekends. I used to live in sandals during the summer but not anymore.

I ended up getting the black version of those Naturalizers, at your suggestion. They have a simple edge. They have been very helpful on the college tour trekking this summer.

Glad to hear you are enjoying sandals, Angie. I am back to having a fair sandal capsule, after having to learn NOT to keep buying them when I moved here from California. There was not enough summer to wear them! Recently that has changed, so I'm enjoying them again, too. (Though today was a closed-toe shoe day for sure--I am wearing flats, and totally wasting the opportunity to shoe my toenails, which match my outfit.)

C1, Tanya has the same dress code. You have to make the most of your sandal style over the weekend.

Ummlila, we are sandal twins for BOTH of these pairs. Very comfy. The Naturalizers look better on the foot, which is what I suggested in the item description.

Skylurker, not if they are wearable. Pass them on to charity, someone you know who might like them, or consign them.

I love sandals, and, since I run warm, can wear them for more months than my climate might indicate.

I also like that they are generally a bit lower in price than shoes, and quite a bit less than boots. Also, even a slightly dated sandal seems less dowdy than a poorly chosen loafer or pump. During Summer, it feels like the fashion rules relax and expand a bit -- just like my feet!

Your sandals brighten and lighten your outfits, and are exceptionally well chosen to flatter your favorite proportions and styles -- as well as your toes!

Ah, I re-read my comment and I was not clear at all. Should refrain from commenting late in the evening!
I meant I usually stay away from peep toe style, but I have made an exception and have a pair, which I wear as frequently as weather permits.
For a moment I thought you knew which pair I was talking about from my posts and asked me to bin them because you disliked them...I was quite shocked, so out of character for you, lol.
