Alas, take two of this post!

This is my ideal leather skirt. The leather is soft and butter, the colour isn't too harsh, the length is perfect, and critically, it has the right amount of flare to accommodate broad hips and a large posterior without amplifying them. As a pearish pear, drastic flares and pleats are simply not flattering on me, even though they should be. As a result, I've tended to gravitate toward pencil skirts for the sleek look they offer, but unless a pencil skirt sits at the natural waist (most at Nordstrom, J.Crew and elsewhere don't), it's not a flattering look.
I've been looking for knee-length leather skirts for about two years, and this one fits the bill. Here's hoping, rather wishfully, that the price drops even further.
