I went in to the flagship store at 9am for my appointment with a SA, and I only had one hour before I had a work meeting to get it all done. I didn't feel that I had too many F/W holes in my wardrobe, so felt fairly safe let loose upon the sale. My stipulations were to look at tops and coats/jackets, no black and no leather (both of which I have in abundance) and only in jewel tones. There was a lot of black, a fair amount of lighter colors and earth tones and florals and lace were evident. I did try on the black Vince lambskin waterfall cardigan/jacket. It was gorgeous, but the rules are the rules! I was only going to buy a coat if I found something in a bold color like pink or cobalt, which didn't happen. The offerings in petite were slim, with limited color ways on offer. Even the full size were mainly in neutrals. Here is what I ended up with.
- Navy ruched VC tube skirt (not on sale)
- Black VC tube skirt (2 for $69)
- Multicolor VC sleeveless top
- Black/merlot Lafayette reversible silk shell
- Burgundy high/low Autumn Cashmere sweater, elbow patches and zip sides
- Teal VC zip front mix media top
Tomorrow I'm going to check out some gray boots or booties and the Michael Kors white belt, as well as pick up my items from today. Hope everyone who shopped the sale enjoyed as much as I did!
