SW's aren't always narrow actually. Some of my clients with high volume feet wear them very comfortably. It depends on the style. Thistle, you should be fine.

Inge, I have wide-ish fore foot and all SW footwear I tried on worked well for me. I would LOVE SW in black or ink but they are gone in my size <sob>.
I am still holding hope for UGGs and they come in rich brown as well.
