Last week, I found a beautiful AF shirt in my favorite consignment shop. The size was marked as "3", which I didn't understand, but later I found out that AF's older pieces used a French sizing system of 1-2-3-4, so that a 3 is like a size 8 or 10. Anyway, too big even to alter.
But last night, during a bout of insomnia in the wee hours, an AF shirt that I have been following on eBay had its "Buy It Now" price reduced *twice* while I was on the site, until it was less than $50.
And now this lovely item is on its way to me...
The photo makes it look like it has dark ribbons on it, but those are actually insets of the same sheer material that the sleeves are made of.
Very excited! (The seller takes returns, so no problem if there's anything wrong with it.)
