I just tried a natural brand called W3ll People and am loving it. I'm using the blue. The brush is a little weird, but it really seems to separate the lashes well.

I also got a sample of Mac False Lashes, which I really like. I normally use an eyelash primer before my mascara, but if I'm running late, I can use the Mac False Lashes directly on my eyelashes and still get voluminous lashes.

Hi Gigi. I've noticed those eyelash primers, but haven't tried one. So I guess you like it, and don't mind the extra step?

Thanks for the tip on W3ll People -- it's always good to have a natural brand in the mix.

Xtabay, I try to be as natural as possible with my cosmetics, and that means that they don't always have a lot of "oomph." So I use the Jane Iredale eyelash primer underneath my mascara, and that really seems to lengthen my lashes and bulk them up a bit before putting on the mascara itself. I also find that my mascara seems to flake and smudge less when I use a primer beforehand. I don't mind the extra step because I think that I get a lot more out of my mascara this way.
