Runcarla, snake-print is a great idea! I agree that the mix of colors make it nice for tonal matches of items when a perfect color match is difficult. My blue, brown and grey snake-print booties are not traditional colors, but I think they look good with the brown jeans (that may also be due to the architectural brown heel). I may look for shoes and a handbag in a more traditional snakeskin color palette because it will work with everything in my wardrobe, not only these newer items. Also, I really like your collection earthy brown items, they look great on you. If I purchase more browns, they will likely be similar to yours, and also include reddish and pinkish browns.
Rachy, I think teal is going to be a big color this season, so hopefully you will find something you like, without being overwhelmed by too much of it!
Bijou, it’s nice to know that you have also been wearing your tall boots.
LisaP, I just saw you asked about the light taupe boots. Hopefully both you and Tanya can find something you like. The two I purchased fit my high arched foot well. The Vince are supposedly water resistant, which is important for the climate where I live!
Angie, thanks! Some soft greens, but also some surprisingly acid green as well, I didn’t add a link for the lime/citron items, but it has always been a favorite color of mine. As a child, DD fondly started calling this family of colors “funny yellow green” because it made her happy to say that instead of their proper names which she also knew (lime, citron, chartreuse, etc). She humorously and joyfully used a funny yellow green palette mixed with orange, burgundy, soft greens and earthy tones for the conglomerate painting she made of DH and myself as part of her senior conceptual art project. It inspired my fall palette.
