It sounds like you gave your wardrobe a nice refresh this season. I ended up doing the same thing at NAS this year. Originally I purchased only one or two items and then the floodgates opened. Compared to last year, there was so much I liked, so I just went ahead and did an overhaul. I should do a recap of new purchases, that is a great exercise but I don't think I can remember everything I purchased this year! Too many new things. I added a lot of patterns in the spring/summer and then my NAS haul this year. One nice thing about doing a overhaul or large infusion at one time, it is very easy to coordinate items that will remix well.

I'm late to this party but you should be very proud of the work you've done as you look fabulous and perfectly put together in each of these pictures. Yay!!

I really enjoyed looking at the pictures of all of your fall purchases at once - you made really great choices this year! As you know, I was inspired by some of your selections - the BR sweatshirt and the Amber Sun are in my closet as well.

*applause*

You got out precisely what you put in, and you're at an enviable place with your style and wardrobe. Well done.

Wow Suz! What a fun read! Loved hearing about your process and thinking - and I think your purchases very much reflect your style persona and definitely keep outfits interesting and modern! Love the D.P. boots - and of course, the DVF sweater (since I have it too!)

Such impressive analytics and the follow through is out of this world. Once again a fabulous array of outfits.

Wow, those are some seriously gorgeous clothes! I especially love the cranberry and bronze booties. And the navy dress in #1. And the shiny navy sweatshirt.

As someone who's nowhere near that level of wardrobe coherence and organization (and may be constitutionally incapable of it), it's fascinating to read about your thought processes.

Hi Suz. You are an inspiration to me. You have exactly the kind of wardrobe I want. Not too big, but not too small. Everything works together. Everything looks wonderful on you. And everything seems to go with everything else. What an accomplishment!

I can learn a lot from you, and will be reading your posts with great enthusiasm. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Suz, your post and thoughts help us all to evaluate our wardrobes and needs. You do an amazing job of staying focused while still having fun and allowing for the occasional wild card. You buy for your real life but remember to include items like your elegant new navy dress. You could probably take an office job tomorrow and have many appropriate outfits already in your closet.
I can see the wisdom of upgrading each season, especially with current footwear. I can't wait to see how you style your pieces this winter.
Be wary of grey jeans. I dearly wanted some, have bought some, and have been rather disappointed because they end up looking unpolished and dirty even when they are clean and unstained. In theory they seemed a perfect addition for a cohesive wardrobe. In practice, not so much. If you find some good ones, please let me know.

I find your analysis very helpful Suz, in particular to see the nature of the items bought some time ago that you continue to incorporate into today's outfits. Are they your classics?
