Preface: My tiny, tiny town has a tailor and a shoemaker. : O
And the shoemaker (lovely guy) has my Docs! I bought them in a moment of "YAY SPARKLY DOCS" and have subsequently worn them <3 times in the 2 years following their purchase!
The reason for this neglect is because of their color-they are sparkly silver.
No more-they are being (dyed? stained?) black!
I'll have pictures on friday.
They are significantly brighter and more glittery in real life.
There was a sad moment where I delegated my faithful workboots for build-crew (our school builds its own set for plays).
I also went to Loehmann's and I am delighted with my hunt! Photos to follow. I feel very dapper in my new shoes especially.
