My condolences to you and your family. What a blessing to be able to be by his side at the hospital. Thank you for letting us in on a bit of his life. Glad our little internet community can keep you company as you grieve. <Hugs>
Cardiff Girl, I too am so sorry at this massive loss. I am so glad that you were able to be with him at the end, that is so important. Losing a parent is something that you really can't prepare for and for me the grief came in waves. Celebrating good times and your Father's favourite places is a great way to keep his memory alive. Your Father sounds like he led a full and rich life.
I am sorry for your loss. Heartened to hear that you were able to be with him. Hoping that good memories help sustain you and your family going forward.
I am so sorry for your loss, Cardiffgirl. It is always hard and current times change things; good that you could gather with him, as well as have a way to remember him together.
Dear Cardiff girl, joining in the condolences. I still miss my Dad over 10 years after he died! So glad you were able to be with him, sending you love from New Zealand xx
My condolences. It's so hard to lose your father and with so little time to prepare, it must have been even more difficult. I'm so glad you were able to visit him at the end. May his memory be a blessing
