Love those!!! I remember the white boot one from when I lurked but not the apple green, those outfits are fun!

I remember a post where you tried on some red Miz Mooz heeled shoes with a purple dress, that I loved.

Fun!

I can see that your love of bright colours and colour mixing is a constant. Plus your love of dogs of course:) But your style was much more maximal then!

Those are great boots, Angie. Interesting to see the change in your style.

Cee, yes. Tailoring is key.

Style Fan, you're a honey.

Brooklyn, YES. And in-between my maximal look and now - I was Tomboy Minimal. But always with Yorkies

Jlpp, WOW. You have been at YLF a LONG time. Here's that outfit, and I'm impressed. 9 years ago...

Yes!! I still love it

I love how you have consistent elements to your style but are still constantly evolving... Every outfit feels very *you*, but at different stages of your style journey.

What a fun blast from the past! Agree with Roxanna, although your style has clearly evolved, the Angie-ness about them is still there.

I remember this! Loved those boots and always think of you when I see apple green x

Thanks for the blast from the past. I can remember the blue plaid jacket and the red shoes

I love how you are consistent in your love of Yorkies...some loves are forever, Jasmine is so cute. Bijou is our 3rd Westie, I just cannot imagine my life without a white feisty fur baby. Your apple green cowboy boots are really fun.

I remember those boots! I guess you still had then when I joined, what, seven years ago? I hold you responsible for the apple green kick I went on for a while -- I had a great apple green bag that I've since passed along, but I enjoyed it with blue and white outfits.

It's interesting to see how many of your preferences are the same, but your overall style has become more refined and sophisticated. I'm sure the same is many of us, myself included!

Fun to hear the golden oldie Fabbers come through. Time flies.

Jllp, you're a cute-pie.

Roxanna & Jaime, what a sweet thing to say. Thank you.

Bijou, for us dog-people, a life without dogs is miserable. Sam is also our third Yorkie.

Janet, the great part about aging is that you get to play it your way even more. Style that felt right at 39 can feel wrong at 47, although the core signature is the same - and you have the power to evolve and amplify as you like. Empowering.

Debs, I love being thought of in terms of colours.

Anne, YOU were our first Fabber from Oz.

How fun! I remember a few of the photos you took in your home. I so miss your outfit posts with your pretty face! Those boots are pretty cute-apple green is one of my favorites, but it seems to be missing from stores (for a long time!) Seems like it should cycle back through soon.

Apple green footwear goes on your shopping list, but it must be very difficult to find. Love seeing sweet Jasmine as well as oldies on your style journey. Your consistency with colors has always impressed and inspired me, like your not settling for fire engine red but holding out for tomato.

Oh, Dana and Joy. You're always gracious with your words. Thank you. It's high time apple green circled back to a fashion moment.

A couple of my co-workers went to Frye today. One of them got some killer cognac cowboy boots. I was able to remark that it’s a fringe trend!

I remember them well! Let's hope the fashion fairies bring back bootcuts so we can wear these looks again!

Speaking of colorful cowboy boots, after your mention of blue cowboy boots in the blog comments, I did some searching around and found these, but have not yet pulled the trigger (cowboy terminology intended):

HAH, Christina. Good job.

Laura, those are PERFECT for you.

Smiling I would never have picked you for a western boot wearer - but if you have to wear them , apple green is the way to go !

With the Angie seal of approval, I ordered the boots. High hopes for blue cowboy boots. Who knew? Perhaps they will bring an injection of whimsy and light-heartedness into my style!

WOOOHOO, Laura. They work well with your boho-lite looks. Please show them to us.

Lisa p, fun to surprise you. I like these refined Western boots - but not the price. Bye-bye boots.

I like the white ones too.

oh i remember those boots! here is a blog post idea: why don't you from time to time pick an outfit from the past, and tell us how you'd wear it today and why. maybe show us an updated version from your finds. personally i'd enjoy that very much.

Such lovely outfits!
Bod thing I noticed is that the colors in these pics skew cool that your sour brights and still look great on you.

I love those green boots!

I love the boots (wouldn't mind wearing them in a spring outfit with white & turquoise), but I love the cropped leather jacket even more! Been looking for one that hits at the natural waist for ages!

PS - Haven't seen a cowl neck dress worn over bootcut jeans in a while! I'm guessing this was a trend in & of itself not too long ago?
