This blue floral dress was bought on a whim for a particular event that never worked out, and so it sat in my closet unworn because I couldn't figure out how to tone down all its traditional floralness
Then I saw Angie's blue floral dress version in her recent Spring WIWs post and I thought WOW I need to try this. Inspired by Angie here are my two renditions.
Photo 1: I don't own any red Mary Jane's so I wore black strappy sandals instead with a red Roots bag.
Photo 2: This time I wore red Clarks loafers and a different handbag that had some red in it.
I loved the cool chic vibe and red compliments of Angie's version and my hope was to create a similar modern vibe with an otherwise fairly traditional dress.
