Mustard Capsule for Carla - YouLookFab Forum

I loved seeing runcarla, jenniNZ, and suntiger's capsules and because I"m a bit of a lemming, I wanted to share my mustard capsule. It all started with Angie's fatal mustard sneaker boots which I got in December. I actually got them as a gift for my granddaughter. They were too small for her so I kept them. They needed support and the result is shown below. Keeping the mustard boots was an emotional act and the suport pieces needed planning. I'm really happy with this cherry capsule.

Ooh, I really like your jean jacket in mustard! I made a mustard complement. I had a vintage Coach bag in mustard that I never used. Then I got some shoes and scarves, and I started using the bag.

You may very well be ahead of the wave. I was crushing on a Sentaler coat in lilac from last year, and when I went to see if it was still available,

Beautiful. Now you need some mustard bottoms. My favorite is the jean jacket.

I suppose inspiration can strike unexpectedly and then if the whatever-it-is makes us happy, we look for more. My bronze capsule started a similar way as my olive, with just one item which again I wore with black at first. Your cheerful capsule makes me happy!

STAR: I always thought I couldn't wear mustard, too. But I like it and thought that wearing it as an accent could work.

I love it all! Amazing how one wildcard purchase can be the start of a whole new theme. I like how you did not go for perfect colour matches but rather tonal and subtle pattern inclusion. Very sophisticated and current to my eye.
