Glad to hear that everything went well. Wishing Mr Skunky a quick recovery.

I only just saw this JAileen, and am relieved to hear Mr. Skunky is feeling like himself again after the surgery. I'm holding thumbs that the lab results will be back quickly and that the mass was indeed benign.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Now we have to remember his medicine and make sure he doesn’t touch the sutures!

Oh my goodness, I didn’t see his after picture with the cone until just now. I hope he is a cooperative patient!

Janet, I just found this thread and hope your dear pup is not in pain and recovering well.

Mr Skunky is doing well. I haven’t given him any pain medicine today, and he seems fine. He’s been on a couple walks and barked at some arborists that were doing some work.

He sounds like he is feeling like himself. Maggie is getting to be an older dog, but still thinks she is a puppy. I hate to see the day when she starts showing her age.

The vet called: the growth was benign! Thank you everyone for your good thoughts.

I am so glad you shared the good news.

JAileen - glad to hear the benign results and that Mr. Skunky is sounding like himself after his surgery. Hope he is being a good boy for you.

Really glad that the test results were good news.

Thank you everyone! Mr Skunky is doing very well. Here he is on a walk this morning. My husband took off the cone head for the walk. He loves snow and cold, but not the cone.

I just saw this. glad he's doing well. my dog loves the snow too (PBGV)

Mr Skunky got his stitches out and is now cone-free. He is a very happy camper. Thank you everyone!

I just saw this post, and I'm so glad there was a happy ending!

(I can't wait to tell my mom about Mr. Skunky. I brought home a rescue Boston Terrier to them when I was in college, and he got skunked his first week with them. That was in 1992, and I'm still hearing about it).

Already?! Lucky boy!

Great news Janet. Phew.
