More leather jacket lust

It's really more than I'm prepared to spend on a leather jacket, (i.e., if I bought it, I would be more or less syc until spring), but I think this jacket might be my ideal. Has anyone tried on or purchased a Veda jacket? Does this one seem trendy or timeless?

Yeah, it really is! I'm thinking about the Tahari jacket that Makrame (and also Cinnamon Fern, I think) have tried out - a 1/3 of the price and some of the same design details I'm looking for. This one really calls to me - and it's ink blue to boot! I thought it was black at first.

Super pretty! It also reminds me of Rick Owens, so I don't think it is super trendy. The color is very timeless IMO. If your budget can handle it, it doesn't hurt to try it on your body.

Thanks Rae! That really helps. I'm going to think about it and if it's still available to order, I may put in an order next month or try to track it down in the store. In the words of Flip Wilson's Geraldine, I may owe myself a try on. I think it is special enough for me to give it some serious consideration, or perhaps coax an early b-day or X-mas present out of dh!
