You're welcome, Isabel. My style is very unique! I think living in Europe for 12 years changed me in many ways, especially in how I perceive style and fashion. I am fearless.

I was a teen during the fantastic 70s and wore ALL those clothes. That was a REAL blessing style-wise, too. Like Kendall Farr said, "If you lived through the 70s, you don't need to be told what cool is."

Angie has very politely requested photos from me and I'm working on it!

Half of my wardrobe is from Mango. Many times everything I wear except for accessories and underwear is from that shop -and I mean jeans + top + coat. This is because MNG is the only shop I've found where pants actually fit without having to spend big quantities of money. Guess if I was taller, prettier and slimer I could model for them or something. I'm a truly MNG girl Happy you guys can enjoy it too.

Airin, great to know, thank you !! It sounds to me that you are already modeling for them...you apparently wear their clothes well ! ( Besides, really tall, beautiful super-slim women are genetic freaks....that's why they get picked out from the rest of us and land on Sports Illustrated. )

Barbara, Barabara....I so need a dose of cool and hip. I am feeling very conservative and staid. You have ridden in just in time. You MUST post !!!!! Anyone who lived in Europe for so long and can spot these great looks at JCP, needs to post, post, post .

I don't know if you read Steph's post on finding pantaloons and an adult baby bonnet for a costume. Yup, I knew that the VT country store carries bloomers and cuddle caps for adults, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT RALPH LAUREN AND LIZ CLAIBORNE ARE AT JCPENNEY. I need to be demoted somehow...

OK, I'm just getting old! Mango is definitely not juniors in an F21, Hot Topic way - I would say more of a twenty-something, young professional place as Bella says. In my mind, it is a step above H&M - maybe a quarter step below Zara in terms of quality. Now that I am closer to 40 than 20, I am starting to call everything of that age bracket juniors!!!

I have to agree with Khris. You do have to watch quality with JCPenney. I do shop there and have been happy with the quality for what I've paid for items (very inexpensive.)

I actually have one shirt from the MNG line. http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X.....rchresults

It's thin and will likely not hold up for a long time, but for less than $10 I'm not going to complain.

I wouldn't judge the entire line from an inexpensive tshirt to be fair. Mango makes amazing jackets.

Sure they're not couture quality, but why would anyone expect that? They're at least as good as Gap to me, and far more interesting.

The great thing, for me personally, is that I am not looking for investment pieces. I have all my basics that have lasted me years and years. But I definitely want to look a bit more modern and have a little "splash" added. I really liked the stuff that Maya linked too and I am looking forward to mixing some in. Either way, options are always nice.

I meant to go see the MNG line in stores. Need to still do that! At one point (10 years ago) half my wardrobe came from MNG. I am still all over Spanish merchandise. Will report back soonest.

I trolled the website but couldn't figure out what stores actually carry it. Would love to see in person.

One more factoid, ladies: I HEART Ronson is a line of clothing designed by Charlotte Ronson especially for JCP. Another good reason to go there!

Isabel, I will continue to post. This is fun!

This is such an interesting thread! Like several of you, I have not set foot into a JCP in decades. It just reminds me of my childhood, and not in a good way! But, this new Mango line just might entice me into crossing the threshold.

Maya, I wasn't suggesting that one thin tshirt means the entire line is not of good quality. I very much like the tshirt, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my money. I'm just saying I've been shopping at Penney's a lot over the last year, and find the quality as a whole can be iffy at times. That said, the prices are very inexpensive IMO, so I don't expect the item to last forever.

I agree about the I <3 Ronson line. I like it. I've found some ANA pieces that I like. The Olsenboye shoe line makes some cute designer knock-offs as well. I just like browsing through Penney's honestly.
