Oh Angie that is so funny. I mix metals and have never given a thought to my ring metals. I However always match metals with my earrings and necklaces.

I seem to have a double standard regarding mixing metals. My watchband is inherently mixed, as it has both gold and silver. My wedding ring is platinum (looks silver); on my right hand I wear my grandmother's gold wedding band. So I have no problem mixing metals in my watch and rings.

However, my necklaces and earrings must be the same metal--most often silver--and I'm scrupulous about buying boots and bags with silver trim only.
