About a month ago I posted a boots/booties post.

I wear a lot of cropped pants, and really needed something that closes the gap in order to wear these bottoms into the colder months/winter. No one boot is going to do everything, but after visiting EVERY store that carries shoes in my locale, I lucked out with a boot that works for me. I was having a lot of trouble with tightness across the forefoot (bunions) or very heavy soles. This leather combat boot felt awesome out of the box, and was very light weight. The footbed is removable, so can be replaced/upgraded with orthotics, and I was able to lace it loose over the foot, but nice and snug about the ankles. With nominal lining, I’m wearing them with my Smartwool socks, and have ample wiggle room. Worn for about 4 hours and a 7km urban walk already.

(I was prepared to pay 3x what I paid for these so consider them a steal! Since I can’t post Finds, I’m including product information from website.)
