Well, let me first say that I think of SO as one of the most highly-evolved men on the planet, with no macho pretensions whatsoever. And he would never try to control what I wear (except in the sense of going shopping with me and making suggestions when asked). He does have preferences, however, and they are definitely in the "I would like to see the female shape" category.
