I think I might have to get the black ones from Dillard's. I have never even heard of Dillard's before coming here, but wow, $19!

Hey Ana, how did it go with exchanging the shoes with Dillards?

I just got mine and they are pewter too (instead of black that I ordered) I'll need to either exchange/return them, but I really want them in black too.

Oh weird! It must be a bug or something. I dropped them off at the post office today. You should call the 1-800 number on the return slip and let them know you got the wrong color so they won't charge you return shipping and stuff.

Well, they told me to fill out an exchange form, so I hope they still have the black by the time they get my form. I won't be too happy if they're out of stock.

I too have joined the black Swann flats from Dillards bandwagon. I just got them today and I got the right pair, fortunately. I am not a bow person so I was going to pass on these altogether, but after seeing them look so cute on everyone's feet and when Nicole posted the houndstooth pair on piperlime for $25, I decided to give them a try. Alas, I knew I would not wear them when I got them-- couldn't get past the bow. But they were so comfortable I decided for $19 at Dillards I would try the black pair. These are winners! I think the all black minimizes the bow effect for me and makes them a little edgier. I may only be wearing them with skinnies but I will wear these.

I wrote this long thing for those other no-bows people.

Tanya, I called Dillard's today to make sure they got the shoes I sent back. They had received them, but instead of sending me black ones (like I requested on the form), they just credited my account (and only for the amount of the shoes and shipping back, not the shipping I paid for Dillard's to send them out to me in the first place). Anyway, she made a new order for me for black shoes, and they aren't charging me shipping this time. I asked if they could check in the box before they shipped the shoes since I got the silver shoes instead of black, and the same thing happened to my friend, and the service rep said she'd send an e-mail to the warehouse. So, I guess I'll wait and see what happens when I get my package in a few days. I'll be sort of miffed if I get pewter again.

Have you heard anything yet? You might give them a call in case the same thing happens to you.

I have only sent mine back yesterday, I had an incredibly busy week. I did talk on the phone with them end they said they'll send a new pair once they receive the old ones. I hope they don't mess up again!

Just to let you know that they did send me the black pair I ordered, so it looks like they have fixed the problem causing them to send out the wrong color.
This is my first pair of flats and I only bought them because of the price. We'll see if I become a flats person. They are comfy and do not run small at all. I wear an 8 and these 8's are plenty roomy. I'm glad they don't gap open at the sides when I walk. I think I will like them. I like flats with skinny jeans, and since I just got my first pair of skinny jeans, I think they will work for me.

I had ordered a pair of black flats from them but I haven't gotten them yet (I had them shipped to my aunt in Michigan and she will be in town next week!) but now I am a bit worried that they might have sent me the pewter flats as well!Ordinarily I wouldn't mind (I like the pewter combination) but I ordered the pewter flats from Nordstrom as well! I'm looking forward to getting my flats next week!

I'm glad to hear the shoes do not run small to size San. I normally wear a 9.5 but ordered these in a 9, partly b/c they were not available in a 9.5/10. I was hoping that if they are leather, they will stretch out but hopefully I won't have to!

I got my shoes today from Dillard's and they are the black ones, hooray!

I think I just called them yesterday, though, so now I think maybe they are going to send me a second pair, since this pair had to already have been on its way. I guess we'll see. If I do get a second pair, it's no big deal, since I think I'd like to duplicate them anyway.

My AK flats definitely aren't going to cut it as all day shoes for walking around campus when it's hot outside--my feet got really sweaty today and then they started rubbing pretty badly. I guess I'll pull them back out in October.

I am so happy for you Ana! And duplicating wouldn't be bad at all, especially at that price.
