Ummmmmm, I'm laughing and cringing as I write this, but I just went to put on the maxi-dress to post a photo for your opinion and discovered that it's no longer in my cupboard!

I must have donated it to charity when I did my closet purge a month or so ago and forgotten I'd done it! I am such a dag sometimes! (And forgetful too, so it seems.)

I'm disappointed in a way, because even though I think you all probably would have said no (and I've made the right call anyway), I would have loved to hear your opinions anyway.

I guess that goes to show that it was the a "no" for me. Oh well! Sorry about that.

I understand the need to be dressed in breezy and cool, uncomplicated oufits for the long hot summer. I don't see how a long dress is cool, though. I've tried them on and been uncomfortably hot immediately.
