Kate, Taylor and Laura, thank you for your input. Kate, you are brilliant to find the reviews on Zappos. It's seems so hard to find shoes that are shorter heels but not clunky if you want to feel more dressed up. After taking another look at my shoe needs I've decided to wait for NAS and try to find a closed toe beige/nude pump.
In the meantime, I'll keep an eye on these and may end up trying them aftyer all.
While my feet are a medium width and not particularly fussy, I have trouble finding even a low heeled shoe that I can stand or walk in for 4 hours. With diabetes it's important that there not be any rubbing or irritation that could cause a blister or something that may not heal like it should. I dread the day when I'll be shuffling around in slippers and enjoying cute shoes vicariously through all of you.
