I'm bumming for you, Anna. I think this one is really nice on you, and it's a shame the bride is not happy with the idea. The size is *so* close too. I can't really give advice where to go for the dress but I am sure your friend does not want it to become a major headache for you.

I have been in a similar situation for a couple of family weddings and my 40th and basically I have taken myself into a local boutique with a wonderful sales assistant and have tried in everything in my size. I had three winners for different reasons. I don't know if there is a local place like that nearby.
