I don't like her as a blonde. That said I think it's the shoes that save the outfit from frumpdom.

I like her hair at this length but she is so stunning she could get away with anything. I don't see these as frumpy at least here. But I agree shoes are what make or break a lot of looks like this.

I know! She appears to have spent her summer at Nanette Lepore's beach house! I wish I had a life of making head wreaths and decorating the world. I know she works really hard and don't begrudge her, but she must rake in a lot of $, or get lots of freebies from designers...

Anna, I think it's the simplicity that is appealing to me. If I looked like her, I'd wear what she wears... I don't feel I can carry off that ethereal chic beauty though.

The weird thing is if you look at Donna Karan styled on the runway, it doesn't look like this at all. It's more maximal, lots of drapey bits.

I've always found a lot of range in Donna Karan, she mixes and matches really well.

And I am so trying that bleach thing.

I love these type of looks. One thing I always find is that Donna always has some really wearable workhorse pieces. I feel that she understands what I'm facing as a mature woman trying to dress for a multi faceted life that includes travel and a lot of casual as well. Thanks for sharing.

I used to love the Glamourai when I first discovered her (she had really short hair then). I have sort of lost interest in her blog as it has become very commercialized and less focused on her and her talent (I do think she has lots of talent). Anyway, the top in the first outfit seems too long to me - or at least I would want to see her standing - but I do love the idea of it.

The lifestyle does look like a dream, but the clothes don't appeal much to me...at least as they are worn. I'd want to button her cuffs and pull her shirt so it sits right on her shoulders, lol. I need to take a chill pill, i think

I really really hate her bag that she has now - it reminds me of a fluffy sheep, in a bad way.

I don't think her style is really attainable - she recently had a post about her sister had "become her own" and be successful, etc (http://www.theglamourai.com/20.....ution.html) - and poor sis was just starting out in the fashion world, and big sis praises her super expensive dress? Almost $1900 - (http://www.bergdorfgoodman.com.....d87430010/?) Bah; I'd rather see sisterly support about being successful in her chosen career and not live beyond her means. Of course, I'm assuming that most fashion industry people starting out don't make thousands to spend on one thing. Which you can't ever wear again. Ever. //bitter. :p

Sometimes I think the pics in these blog posts are just very good pics and I wonder if the clothes would look that good in person or if they just captured a very styled moment. I do wish I looked like her and I do love the Donna Karan pants. Wasn't there a time when Donna Karan was a bit more reasonable priced? Love her stuff but wonder if it's worth it? Love the bleached jean thing!
