Oh that poor little guy! Yeah he is adorable, I love the goofy ears!!
Kallie gets very upset when my BF leaves the house with Tessie. Kallie will pace around the house, crying. And she never cries! So to hear this pathetic little cry... breaks my heart!

Kari, your sheltie is adorable. I volunteer at the shelter and I've met quite a few shelties. Wonderful creatures, and incredibly playful and energetic

Devin, I love poodles! My aunt has several miniature greys. Neeko has a great hair cut. Does he like to get groomed? Or just tolerates it?

Michelle, that's hilarious about Freddie and his namesake. And McClure sounds wonderful.

Loulou, I have a soft spot for greys with green eyes. All your kitties are adorable.

Sarah, your husband and you you're doing a wonderful thing helping out all the stray kitties. I love that picture of you and Jasper. In contrast, our cat is furious when I try to wash him.

Niva, what kind of breed is Boi?

Lee, Tessie looks great lounging in that armchair Ooh, I'm so excited we have a Shiba on this forum! I learned about this breed last year and I can't get enough of them. They are such foxes, aren't they?

I love love love reading about all the doggies & kitties. Our family has had a tough pet year as we lost our Golden almost 1 year ago and our kitty got out of the house and disappeared 5 months ago. We adopted our new puppy Madison in October and she has been so wonderful and a source of much joy. Believe it or not we found her on Petfinder, she's a rescue Bernese which is pretty hard to find. As I have two boys, it's great to have a little 'female' energy in the house and I love her to pieces. We're planning to get a kitten in the next few months and of course I can't forget my son's box turtle - he's surprisingly active and fun to watch.

Here's a pic of Maddie a couple of days ago lazing on the lawn.

Niva so glad i not the only one who calls my parents nanny and grampy for the cats!

I think I successfully created a Photobucket account!
Let's see if this works.

Photos of Loki (grey with huge ears) and Grendal (Siamese) and our foster cat Bucky/Starbuck (black cat) who lived with us for 4 months but now lives with my sister's family.

If this trial works I may be ready for some actual fashion shots.

Thanks Lena! Neeko doesn't like it very much, but I guess after thirteen years he tolerates it. He won't bite or bark, he just shakes like a leaf on a tree anytime he goes, just like when he goes to the vet. We can just be pulling into the parking lot and he is already shaking.

Thanks, Lena. We've had two Shelties while I was growing up, and both were so mellow and smart - but they definitely enjoy any activity that resembles herding!

That is awesome that you volunteer at a shelter and also awesome that so many people here participate in pet rescues. I'd like to do one or both myself someday when time/living situations allow for it.

Kendra, LOL, these animals have personalities all their own.

Lena, Boi is a German Shepherd mix with some pitbull or bulldog in him. Even the vet has no idea!

Loulou, my dad still can't get used to being called grandpa but my mom has been grandma since day one. My sister and mom ask about him every single time we talk on the phone!

This thread makes my heart VERY happy.

Lena, Jas is never sure what to think. In contrast, here's Kimberly in her bath.

Sarbear you're right can't get over how alike our cats are spooky! Had to wash 1 of our a few years ago she hissed and spat and i was covered in scratches- she passed away a couple of years ago but it has put me of bathing cats for life! x

Wow! It's great to hear about and see everyone's pets. Too cute!

I forget who asked, but we do not put Dusty on a leash for walks. He hops alongside us, stopping to explore things along the way. And he follows us home. He knows where the treats are...

Speaking of treats, this morning I cut off the tops of some organic strawberries and let Dusty enjoy them. I love it when the strawberry juice gets on his mouth. It makes him look like he's wearing lipstick. LOL.

I love the idea of Dusty going with you for a walk. It makes me smile. Maddie has a standing playdate every morning with a couple of other dogs at a local school. One of the dog's 'brother' - who is a cat - always comes down with the dog to the park and hangs out in the bushes until everyone is ready to go. Then, he walks back home with the dog & owner. It's so funny.

Awwwww....IWC, Dusty is so cute eating those strawberries! I love it!

Chris, thanks for posting pics of your kitties. They are gorgeous, I don't see these breeds very often. What kind of breed is Loki? Love that pic in a bag.

Is Starbuck a boy or a girl?
