I had a beautiful leather dress for a while but it became harder and harder to find a dry cleaner who could handle it. Eventually it became such a pain, I gave it away. So beware the cleaning issue!
I have some pleather ones. They definitely did loosen a bit over time but are washable. I like how they add edge to otherwise simple, classic outfits. For example, prefer my button up tops with them.
