When I'm walking around town, I usually have my trusty wicker cart that holds EVERYTHING--shopping, handbag, extra layers. In the mountains, we go places by car, so the car becomes the hold-all. But abroad, traveling by public transportation, a jacket ends up on my shoulders, or draped over my cross-body bag--and slipping to the ground, again and again.
