You look like a pinup girl in 3! And 4 looks grown up but flattering and interesting. Nice choices.

I have a personal hatred of dresses like 10– I feel they look like nightgowns. When I’m tempted by the ease of such a dress, I tell myself “you respect yourself more than this!!”

Suz - we must have cross posted and I missed your reply last night. Regarding the shops available here, there are mostly German brands that you have probably never heard of, like Comma, SOliver and Hallhuber. There is Zara and H&M of course. Zalando is selling lots of brands including Gap, Banana Republic, J. Crew , Free People and many UK brands like Top Shop, Whistles, Karen Millen, Reiss, Hobbs etc but not the whole assortment, mostly a few random items from collections.
Dianna - thank you for you feedback, much appreciated.
Toban - that is good idea, to have more interesting footwear. I am also looking for simple jersey sleeveless dresses but no luck so far. I don't think that skorts are popular here, never seen anyone wearing one and don't think I ever seen them in shops either. But I may be wrong, I have never been looking for them.
Staysfit - #7 is also my favorite too. I don't think I will keep yellow tops, I like the color but shape is too fussy for me.
Sal - agree with you about yellow top and shorts
Vix - I tried something different thinking I may like it, but it did not happen. Glad you like top in #4 because that could be the only thing I may end up keeping. Regarding #7 I initially liked it but struggled to make outfits around it. Not sure it is worth or possible to shorten because it has split layers on the back. But LOL I am not really small, I am 5'6'', what gave the impression that I am small?
efbgen - LOL yes they may be great pieces, they are just not great pieces for me.
cindysmith - thank you - you are onto something #4 and #9 may be keepers after all.
Jessikams - agree with you completely about dress. I don't find it flattering at all. It goes straight down without nipping at the waist making me wider then I am (or that I am telling my self LOL) . I think I need a dress with some kind of waist definition.

#1 is all right, but I really like #2--it's much more flattering. The shape of the top, I suppose?

#3 is cute--I'd vote for this one as well.

I also love #6, and #7 is very cool.

#10 could work. (I swear your pose and expression in this one is less enthusiastic than in the others, and this is why it doesn't have as much of an impact. But if this reflects how you feel about the dress, that already tells you something!)

And I honestly do not care for the looks in #4, 5, and 9. Something about the waists in #4 and 9, I guess? They come off matronly to me. (And #5 seems to as well, in a different way.)

UtahDesert - interesting to see so many completely opposite opinions. You don't like bottoms in #4 and #9 or tops as well?

Bear with my ignorance as I missed to learn which are exactly the new items but love everything from 3-to 10, styling and hair INCLUDED!!!!:-)

If I saw you out and about, I’d not think twice about any of these outfits in a casual setting. They all look fine to me. If you are unsure what your casual style is, the only way to find out what resonates with you is to actually wear the items and get used to them.

Anchie, the skort I bought looks just like a normal denim pencil skirt, as you can see in the find attached. You can create your own denim ‘skort’ with a denim skirt and a pair of jockey skimmers (or similar) underneath. It’s become my go-to weekend bottoms and works fine dressed up for work.

Some skorts end mid-thigh rather than just above the knee. Those shorter lengths are less flexible in my wardrobe.

Funny to see so many different opinions! I like the tops in 1,2, 3 and 7 and the bottoms in 5 and 8. That being said, you don't sound very comfortable about any of these. Summer is hard I think. I wear and love shorts but don't feel good wearing them out to shop or dinner so they end up being mostly around the house. I have recently gotten some very lightweight jogger bottoms that I think will be go-to's for going out in the summer and maybe for work. Maybe something like that would work for you?

I love all the looks! I guess I'm not that picky! The long kimono looks absolutely killer.

I think the yellow crops are particularly worth keeping IF the fabrication is good and you feel they fit you well (I don't get a good enough sense of the fit from the photos but from what I can see they look nice). The yellow tops, and two florals in #4 and #9 could also both work (depending again on fabrics).

But if you feel off in the whole lot then that's no good! Perhaps you could share with us some casual outfits that you like the vibe or feel of, and we could help you to find a way to make that sort of thing work for you?

I've scarce on the forum recently, so I don't know your style as well as some of the others. I'd like to chime in with this:

1. The gingham top would look great over last years denim shorts. Gingham might be a bit "out there" for your style, but it is very on trend, and, as is it here, also a graphic statement, which might suit you well.

2. I'm left with the sense that the long sheer tunic and the kimono are the right idea, in the wrong colors and prints for you. I think there's definitely a version of these garments for you, however. I just purchased two shorter kimono tops for my summer wardrobe, and have one long, sheet tunic I'm considering. Mine are floral, but you might want to try one with a bolder, more graphic print, or in a rich solid. I've attached on of my new tops below.

Oh --- almost forgot! I think updated footwear is a great way to upgrade and update simple summer looks! Are there any mules or slides in your summer shoe collection?

Except for the light-colored shorts, I think all these pass muster, and I particularly like the outfits you put together in 5,6, & 7--they look great on you. A nice haul for warm weather!
