You look fantastic. I agree the dress is a departure in some ways from what I've seen in your WIWs, but it also reflects your signature creative style. It looks very designer to me, a bit Euro-chic, and of course it IS a custom design! And rickrack goes upscale! What a fun detail.

I just came across this post; I love the dress and the modifications you made to the pattern. I get excited when I see a sewing project because I appreciate the creativity and the uniqueness of the garment. Thank you for the pattern information. I have a huge collection of patterns but I don't have this one.
