I am shamelessly copying Brooklyn’s use of Pantone swatches. The color I have in mind is sky blue, but we all know the sky varies tremendously from bright to pale to midnight. These are the shades I’m thinking of. Plus my flat lay collection of related wardrobe pieces.
As for the word of the year, my New Year’s resolution is to be more sociable. To build connections with new people, invite friends over more. And I’ve been doing that. I think of the light blues as approachable.
In previous years I’ve used color and fashion to send a deterrent message or even to build up some social boundaries. I’m trying to be a little easier about that.
