I echo the WOWs on the skirt - beautiful style and fit. Pants are cool casual, but the fit experts seem to say something is off. If you're not quite sure of them either, I'd vote to keep searching!

The customer service was excellent (I handled it via the 800 number). These recent J Crew purchases were the first in at least 10 years. This positive experience goes a long way in making me want to shop there again.

I just bought the paisley silk popover in size 4 regular. Hoping it will fit, it's not returnable.

Denise, I love the paisley skirt on you and the regular length looks fashionable and modern (still LOL at Claire's "legs" comments!). What a smart idea to get the matching blouse. I have the Polly Popover (like Angie, Inge and Laura) and I had to buy a 00. We've had the lucky pleasure of meeting, so I hope by know this that the 4 works for you. That's the problem with "sales" items at J. Crew; you have to buy it without really knowing, although, fyi, I did make an online purchase of a sales item and was able to return it in-store without a problem, so often times they do honor the returns. As for the khakis, you're better off finding a perfect pair and I have to say I love that orange top. What brand it is?
