I would probably keep both, because I love sweaters and have no will power, but I hope that you will keep--and wear--the second sweater. I get that the first has more ease and probably seems more practical, but the second is the sort of garment that will make you feel well-dressed and attractive in the depths of Winter. The Bordeaux color is rich and warm on you, and the cables add a bit of structure that is very flattering. I wish it had a V neckline, but a long scarf or a pendant on a long chain could direct the eye and echo the cabling in the same way. I get the feeling that you don't indulge yourself very often, Alana. When you try on something that makes you say, "At last! a cable knit I can wear," I say buy it and enjoy it. When the Winter holidays come, I think you'll be glad to slip into something that makes you feel warm and look pretty.
