K/R Skirt Wars - The Third and Final Installment!

Final one (for today!). Promise!!

So, I recently decided I loved and needed more full skirts. I reach for skirts a lot and find them easier to wear and easier to fit.

Of course, once I decided this, my sole source for these skirts in an appropriate length for me went to 60% off and I panicked and bought way more than I probably should have.

So I am begging help! I would like to return items tomorrow at lunch so I have a fresh slate for making NAS decisions when they arrive.

Pics 1-4 - First full skirt in a basic turquoise. Matched with several tops as options. I sort of feel like it is nice, but maybe not a 10. Thoughts?

Pics 5-8 - I love the color of this full skirt, but I am sort of wondering if the color is lulling me. Again, I feel like it is okay, but maybe not a 10.

Again, either of these make the cut? Do either earn a place in my closet?

I do not think either of these skirts are a 10. I think you can do better. The teal color looks really good on you. I like it better thank the cobalt.

I wouldn't buy either of these in place of the ones you already have, so I guess the question is how many of this style do you think you need? I know it's tempting to buy out the store when you find a silhouette that you like :-).

These are both nice. How many skirts are you thinking of keeping? I prefer the cobalt. But if you are only going to keep 2 I vote the patterned one from thread #1 and the white one from #2.

I love the colours of these skirts, esp. the first blue, but I'm not loving the construction.

I think I have to agree with rachylou; I love the colors, but not the shape. I think maybe something with less pleating would be nice, as it feels like these are adding a bit more volume than is really necessary. Maybe just a full circle skirt, or one of those tiered skirts would add the right shape to your wardrobe without adding as much fabric?

I agree these are not your best. I vote return but keep a lookout for your styles.

I love the first turquoise (this is almost deja vu from the 2nd post) color, but the fabric looks thicker and stiff. I don't know what the color plan for your wardrobe is Thistle. Do you have a set of neutrals and a few colors that you stick with?

Thistle, I vote pass on both these skirts. The material (this is especially obvious in the turquoise) is stiff and thick, causing the skirt to stand away from your body, adding bulk that isn't actually there.

Thistle, are these the same skirt as the white one in your other thread? If yes, I suggest keep the white and return these two.

I'm not feeling love, either, except for the places you matched the top, and used a belt. The belted look is fab on you! Do you do that with patterned tops as well?

Colors, lovely. Style, not the best for you. Agree that rather than pleats, or so many pleats, you should try out some more simple constructions such as a pencil or if that's too constricting, a straight up-and-down construction such as Angie wore (a white Jil Sander skirt) in her recent outfit posted here. Your tops are cute!
