K/R: My slouchy pants are .... khakis?

I've never been a khakis gal, having considered it too prep for my style.

I tried on a whole lot of black slouchy baggy track etc pant styles (too-long Leith pants, I'm looking at you) and had just about given up on finding a pair of work-appropriate slouchy trousers. But then I saw these and dug the super masculine fit:

IRL they have a silky sheen and veer on the gold side of khaki. Great fabric and construction, but what about the fit? Are they stylishly slouchy in a masculine way or just too big/blah? The crotch point is about 2-3" below my actual crotch.

I like them more with the blue button down and sandals. T-shirt and boots reads as a uniform to me.

I think they look intentionally slouchy and not sloppy. The tone I think would work well, it looks nice with that blouse. Hat is fun

I like the fit of these Cciele - and they are slightly different from the other slouchy silhouettes we've seen, which is part of what I like. The colour is very versatile, the taper at the ankle is perfect IMO and the length is spot on. Love them with the cobalt blouse and hat - my hubby would say you look like a "sexy private investigator" - lol!

As styled in 4/5/6 I love them, definitely reads as intentional and a cohesive vibe - love your poses too! I agree that with a simple t outfit, your style is not shining through so it's harder to tell that the fit is intentional.

OK you look fantastic, is that your new Equipment blouse? What size blouse did you end up with? Love the hat, I think these pants work for you!!

And are you sizing up in these trousers, I love them on you and the slouch is perfect. I have some Nordstrom notes and these pants are calling my name. I'm between a 4 and a 6, do you think a 6 would give me similar slouch??

The attitude that goes the slouch, not looking sloppy to my eyes is quite fitting. Ready to take on the world in a nonchalant way. I dig the way it's styled in with the blouse but not the shirts in photos 1-3.

I agree with Anna about the first pics, but you look great is 4, 5 and 6! With that top and shoes the slouch looks intentional and I love the attitude in the poses (and the hat, too!)!

Love these in all iterations. I think the shiny fabric and the fit make them look so cool and not at all uniform-ish. Just don't wear a red polo

I think they look like a good fit on you. My first thought was that you needed to pull them down just a bit so that they weren't so high on your waist, but then I clicked on the link and saw that they are supposed to be high-waisted. I LOVE them with the blouse and the sandals - and really don't love them with the t-shirt (it looks too much like a Best Buy employee uniform!)

Kristin SF: Yes, that's my new Equipment blouse! It still has the tag on, haha -- I need to iron it. I ended up with size M; I like the oversize fit but might get it shortened. I'm between 6 and 8 for pants, and I tried both sizes on. The 6 fit, but like a true high-waisted pant without slouch. Kinda scary. I way prefer the fit of the 8, as you can see, so I think a 6 will work great for you.

CK: Yeah, from the feedback here these pants definitely need some styling and attitude, or else they become a uniform of sorts (not in a good way).

Marley: Interesting about the waist thing! They are listed as high-waisted pants (10.5") rise, and in size 6 that's what the look like. But this size they hit about 2" below my belly button. And I promise not to wear with a black tee at Best Buy
