FWIW, both toppers are no brainers for the PNW. We need toppers in all thicknesses and levels of warmth. I don't have a raincoat. I don't see the point when I use an umbrella, although I am in the minority. And you will need wool coats. Maybe a puffer if you brave the elements in Winter. If you commute by car everywhere - you won't need a puffer. Hope that makes sense.

Keep, especially the terribly flattering orange!

Angie's absolutely right. Like rabbit, I live in PDX. My coat closet is the same size as my bedroom closet, and in fact it's even fuller and more crowded. Yes, I could do without many of my coats and jackets, but the only one that doesn't get much wear is a 1930s mouton.

I vote keep they are just so cute. That orange one is super cute and it is hard to find that thick knit material. It will amp up your outfits. The pink one looks great for light rain. Of course I am in the "you can never have too many toppers and coat club"!!

Absolutely nothing wrong with having "fun" coats in your coat capsule - and these are both definitely fun!

I feel like you could get a ton of use out of the orange one, as a lighter weight topper in the in-between seasons, and as an indoor topper too. It's fun and flattering and an amazing color. I think it would be helpful not to only assess it as practical gear, though. It's definitely a fashion piece -- or also a fashion piece. But a great one that could be really useful.

I am going to add if you have the basics in coats which it seems that you do then go ahead and start adding in the fun colors and coats in.

IK I can't comment on the climate, but I do like both of these for you. The colours are truly wonderful. The fuschia is very flattering and I really like the orangey as well, I think if these make you ahoy then I would keep. Even I have days where throwing a wonderful block colour over my neutrals makes my day.

In that case, then keep the orange by all means!

I love both colors on you! The orange coat has beautiful structure and fits you too a "T", I love the retro vibe. While the orchid color is gorgeous on you, that coat does not seem as functional to me. Looks like a pea coat but isn't functional for weather. Whereas the orange can be worn as a topper , I don't feel that with the orchid coat. It looks like a coat that should be taken off when you are indoors.

I love the orange one on you! You look great in that color, and the cut of that coat is immensely flattering on you.

I prefer the orange. It is vibrant fun and versatile - work, weekend, commuting. The shape suits you. It is a great orange too, it has a cool tone to it which is perfect with your colouring ( no pumpkin edge).

I am not a fan of the purple. It looks like it would break the wind but not the rain and not have a lot of warmth either. It is an outdoor styling. I think you could do better.
