That’s a good dark floral! Good colours for you and I think will be versatile. Would look good with tights too.

Echoing everyone else...this is a great dress/tunic on you.

So fab! I especially love how you've styled it in #5 - dress it up and dress it down!

I love it with the jeans. Also like suggestions you've gotten to try it with dark tights and booties, sandals, and black pants.

I didn't realize you'd been looking for a dark floral for a long time. That explains why you picked the particular dress you did out of several similar styles at Sundance. Does keeping this mean the sundress is out of the running? In that case, I think it makes sense to think about sleeves, and if you want them or not. I agree with Jenn NZ on the furry vest with naked knees. You could add tights to wear this with the fur, but I don't see how that vest could've worked with a sleeveless dress.

Thanks for all the thoughts, y'all! A few comments.

JenniNZ and Sisi, I think, in this context, "derivative" is a nicer way of saying "cliché." That pattern with that vest looks a bit like a 1970s costume. (I felt what Lisa was saying and wasn't offended by it.) I thought about trying this with my cognac sandals, but I can't quite imagine weather where I'd want long sleeves and open toes. In our arid climate, open-toe season is limited (which is why I only own one pair of sandals) and my feet are cold before anything else. I do agree that some of these looks would be better with tights, though...I just wasn't motivated enough to put them on for a try-on. Plus, I'm trying to make peace with my knees, and I live in a seasonally-confused place. Except for one month in summer and another in winter, the weather is pretty much all over the place, often in a single day.

fashiontern: The sleeves are less a concern for me (I could make either work) than the length of the Sundance dress. As much as I loved that dress, it isn't super-practical for my life. I could probably make room for both, as I don't have a lot of pattern in my closet right now, and several of my dresses are nearing the end of their life cycle.

Beth Ann, I noticed the A-line shape, too, and do think that makes it a bit more versatile.

I agree this is perfect on you - great colors and fun styling options!

KILLER, although I like it more with coverage - so with the maxi cardi in #3 and with the skinnies.

I took some more pics...with tights this time, and it's a keeper. I could see myself wearing #1-3 in my booth for fall/winter shows. #6 is maximal, but less cliche than the other styling with the vest.

Really like the dress and really like it on you! My favorites were #1 and #3.

Of the last bunch, looove #4!

Absolutely a keeper. I didn't even notice the buttons earlier. It can be topped, a topper, or both. And it looks great on you.

I do get a 70s-Janis Joplin vibe from it (nothing wrong with that). Looks good on you. I like it better over jeans, and with the 2 long cardis that pick up the red colour in it.

Versatile top! I super esp like it with the long burgundy topper...

Really really like it with the burgundy! Just wonderng if the beige sweater is a bit much neutral on top?

I LOVE THIS on you!
How fab! Time to start your own blog!
The only styling I'm not a complete fan of is the all-black.

Late to this but I see this as really in keeping with your style and versatile. With all those different stylings it shows how well it assimilates into the closet.

This tunic dress is so fabulous on you and seems to be extremely versatile! It should definitely be a keeper. I'm so impressed that I'm toying with the idea of ordering one for myself. How would you say it fits in relation to the size chart they provide? I'm chesty and I want to make sure I order the correct size. Thanks for modelling it so many different ways. You've inspired me to play with my closet a bit more. I tend to get in a rut and wear the same items together time and time again,

Oooh, you look even more fab in these new styling options ! This dress is definitely a super score!

Oooh yeah... like these better esp 6! Love me a faux fur vest! And thanks for explaining "derivative". Now I would do 70s costume on purpose probably...

Evie, I'm pretty sure that the sizing on this has NO relation to the size chart they give. I normally wear an 16-18 in straight sizes, but I ordered the plus version, just based on a hunch about the brand. I'm not sure how the cuts differ between straight and plus, though. The A-line cut is pretty forgiving.
