K/R : Black n white houndstooth dress

Hey Everyone,

Just came across this houndstooth print dress and as it was the last piece available( nooo...it was not on sale i paid the full price for it) I just bought it because it fits me well and looks good too!
But now I have no idea if this is still in trend...is it a day dress or only an evening wear...is it only good in fall n winter? Its 95% polyester and 5% spandex, provides waist definition and has a key hole closure at the back (pic #2) I tried it on at home with a black blazer/ black cardigan n black pumps and it looked good! I like to dress up the modern classic way so will it be too bold for me?? since I have never ever worn houndstooth print I have no idea about it Although, I do remember Angie once mentioned it in the power of classic wardrobe items post....please help me decide what to do...is it a keeper or no?

If it fits you well, I'd say keep. You can dress it up or down, and it looks like it will span the seasons too.

I like it! I would say it's a spring, autumn and even winter dress if worn with tights and boots.

I absolutely love it. Houndstooth is always a classic. I would probably wear it during the day as part of a work ensemble.

It looks great. If it fits and you like how you feel in it, keep it. But if you're not sure if you'll actually wear it for whatever reason, I'd give it some more thought. Any chance we can see it styled on you?

Gorgeous, classic piece. I can see it in warmer months with red pumps or black sandals. And in cooler months with a black blazer, booties and some hose. Nice find!

I consider houndstooth a classi that is always "in". Love the detailing on it. I would wear this as a day dress.

I think it is a keep for sure if it fits well. Houndstooth is a classic but the seaming and shoulder detail keep it looking very "now". Very nice find!

I am seeing a lot of houndstooth coming in for fall - so yes it is still on trend! I really like it and think you could definitely wear it into f/w with some boots and a jacket.

Yes, still on trend and if you love the way it fits, definitely a keeper... Black and white can be paired with many other colors what comes to mind is green or cobalt jacket or sweater.

Looks adorable with the piecing and trim! There are similar things in the Nordies sale -- at least very similar to my eyes -- so I'd consider it very current.

I think it is classic piece with the style and pattern so if it fits well you have my blessing!
