Definitely better styled. My biggest concern is I still hear your uncertain tone. I am wondering if you don't like it well enough to keep.

There's one thing about keeping something you love, but are not sure is your style because it's branching out for you. When you get compliments on something like that, it can confirm your internal thoughts. In this case, the comments are mixed, so your internal voice has to like it enough to boot the naysayers from your mind. If the latter is the case, then keep. Else, return.

The white leather jacket is ok but I think you could do so much better with a different cut.

GP, I liked both these jackets on you, especially the white leather one. I have some experience with a soft ivory leather jacket with a similarly embellished silhouette, and can tell you that, although it is not the most versatile jacket in my closet, I love knowing it's there! I learned that I didn't particularly like it with dark, high-contrast bottoms, but with low-contrast pale gray jeans or cream trousers, something clicked. Before you send it back, please try your jacket with white pants, palest blue denim, or a soft, light-colored dress, and pay attention to the neckline of the top you wear under it. I found that a lower, softer neckline (think a low, scarf-tied silk blouse or scoop-neck tee) made all the difference. This may never be the jacket you can just toss on over everything, and that may be a deal-breaker for you, but if you are willing to think of a white leather jacket as a luxury item to be worn with certain items when you want a special look, you may see it in a different light.

Just curious about your decision on the white jacket. Did you end up keeping or returning?
