Love it with a belt especially! Do not return.

Sorry Una, don't mean to be a nuisance, but are they "heavy enough" to drape well? Also, is the crotch close to your anatomical one? Or are they supposed to be lower? Also the fit in the back is not what I expected from a top quality trouser. And in the lower thigh they seem a bit off. I'm not used to evaluating edgy styles, so please don't give me second thoughts.

I read these trousers as modern and edgy for sure. And they work well with your IT frame. If I look back at the style that you sometimes aspire to Una (taken from your recent blog post comment:

polished
minimal
alternatively, maximal
sexy
elegant

These trousers are it, bar the alternatively maximal part.

I no longer read prior comments, since I don't want to be swayed lol. So I'm not sure if this has been said already.

I think these are really right for your style. The only thing I would watch out for is the longer inseam. I'll be afraid that as you walk, it might look like there is something occupying that space, if you know what I mean

But hey, I already said I have no clue as to how these are supposed to fit.

Throwing my .02 in the mix., I like them a lot on you! I love the way you've styled them belted actually. Untucked, they're fine, but not as edgy - at least with the plain black top. . .

The only detail I'm wondering is that the legs don't narrow as much as rae's Espirit pair, and is that the look you wanted? But for the way these look and fit, I think they're great. Maybe they look (to me) a bit more polished this way?

ETA: Apples are fortunate they can manage this style. I'm thinking us pears bring too much to the bottom half to do slouchy trousers nearly as well.
