As you all know about the big move did about a year ago, left me clueless.
I came from a tropical climate to Norway :)(Guess that explains a lot) with 1 suitcase of clothes.
I read , asked questions and learnt to dress. But I have this beautiful story to share.

1) During the peak winter I had this commute to work in Public transport which was horrendous. I left home at 6 in this biting cold with strong winds.Layering clothes. But I always felt cold on my legs no matter what I did. I met this Ethiopian lady, who fled her country when she had her 1st baby who was a year old and pregnant with her second. When asked how come she landed in Norway, she said ,"This was the only country we could afford to buy me a ticket to come. We had no money so my husband joined me after 3 years". One day , while we were waiting for the bus, I caught cramps in my leg because it was so cold. The next day, this dear lady walks with a packet and stuffs it in my bag and says"Wear this from tomorrow, it's too cold here for us". Inside it were fleece tights. She has firmly refused any money for it.

2) Our very own Forum member harmonica sent me a wool silk blended top, with a note saying "Hope this helps you in your style journey".

3)My landlord's girlfriend who has a daughter my age: Has been phenomenal :).Let me add she is an emotional shopper and ends up with far more things than she can use. She has handed me 2 very beautiful puffers, 3 blazers , 2 boots, and umpteen handbags. All she takes from me is a hug. And some _Indian Roti

I have met some really wonderful people who have helped me tremendously in this chapter of my style journey...

Just felt like sharing this and saying there is still so much goodness in this world!! It's amazing
