Slouchy boots with an inverted cone heel are all of a sudden trending again (according to what I've read and seen) - but that's way too much for me. It's that whole 80's thing I just cannot do again. I'm not a fan of slouchy , personally, but that's just me. You and I don't really ever overlap in shoe preferences- do we?

BUT - guess what I just did? Despite fear (of spending money ) and common sense (buying two of the same thing ) ...I just ordered the glen plaid Zara top you bought. It's so inexpensive though, and I never have time to shop anymore, ugh - I am SO weak. But I secretly can't wait to get it! The pearl version seems very summery to me (gingham plus pearls = spring and summer) so .......;)

I wonder if the MODEL has that wrap blouse on backwards. . .I've seen a lot of pics this year of similar blouses wrapped in front.

You look so great in these tops, Janet. I particularly love the green Zara piece!

I've been ruthlessly editing my wardrobe because of almost no closet space and of course got rid of my tall boots. Like, a week ago. That will teach me to jump off YLF.

But I may go purge another top so that I can make room for that deep green heron top. That is different and stunning. And I have a local Zara now! Here's hoping it works on me.

I am planning to stop by my local Zara after work tonight and see if they have both wrap tops. Wrap tops are some of my favorite items of clothing, ever, and I can't resist the temptation, especially seeing how great Janet looks in them.

Love all of It! Very classy looks. I can be between sizes at Zara. Does the heron top run big or TTS?

Janet I love your tops and don't pass on your Frye boots because if you check out YSL boots, slouchy boots are "the latest" trend - photo below.

I would say all of these tops are TTS -- these are all M and I typically wear a 6 or 8 in tops.
