Marley, yes, had to laugh at your comment. I can't believe I bought the Kooba bag! I'm waiting till I get to see the other possibilities before I decide whether to keep it. I kinda fell in love with it when I saw it and tried it on in the store. I'm trying to be PPP, though, rather than shopping on pure emotion!

Claire, thanks for your insights. I think a knee-length all-weather coat would be useful, too. Or perhaps a midi-length. They are always too long, so I have a hard time choosing them in the store. But I could have one hemmed if I find the right one. The thought has occurred to me that I could make one. I made my first real coat last year (yet to show here, but it will make an appearance at some point; it's wool!).

I think you look fab in the double breasted ET! However, I don't love the draping of the material on the ET coat. There is some funny puckering on your left side. It's hard to pick up any difference in the coloring online but I really like the dark buttons on you.
