Keep/return polka dot top

Ordered this top and the grey jeggings online, will keep the jeggings and leaning towards keeping the top too, but I'm not sure if it feels really "me".

I've always loved polka dots, and I like the style of the top (but will probably wear with a white cami underneath as it's quite sheer), but I feel like I'm changing slightly in my style and am not sure if polka dots are really "me" anymore..! But I do like it... hm, tricky!

What are your honest thoughts, keep or return?

I like it, but would say pass if you don't really love it, otherwise it might not get worn as much.

It's not my favorite and I'm not entirely sure why. It's fine, but I think you could do better.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it! I also try to do with the attitude that if I don't love it immediately I return it, but some things need to grow on me, like the floral bomber I bought a while ago that I was unsure of but now love... am thinking if I'm unsure because it's been too long since I had polka dots and am not sure if that's my style anymore, but maybe it's just the top in general that isn't great!

If don't like blouses that require a cami--particularly in the summer. Just another thought to affirm your decision to return it.

I think of you in a more feminine cut. The polka dots make it more feminine, but listen to your gut. . . .and there are other polka dots out there.

I vote pass too. Look for your polka dits, but I think you'd look great in more or deeper color and less plain style. Go for fab!

Often, if I have to think too much about whether I should keep or return, that's usually a sign I should return.

One thing that helps me decide (although I see you've already decided) is to ask myself whether the item will take my wardrobe in a new direction. If the item is very similar to stuff I already have, and it won't really help me explore a new style direction or create more outfits, then I usually pass.
