Keep, Return, Toss... Shoes, Top, Dresses (Pic Heavy)

So I've done some post-purge shopping and could use a little help. Here's what I've got:

DKNY Heels - are they too chunky? I confess that I have only just adjusted my eye to stacked heels, I'm not sure if this shape is quite right. I love the buckle detail though.

1: With pants
2: Showing some ankle
3-4: With pencil skirt

Nine West Sandals - I like the closed back and more covered look for work.

5-6: Nine West shoes with capris

Vintage Dress
7-8: I bought this gorgeous vintage dress online and had it altered because it was too big. Now I am worried that it might be doing my hips a disservice.

Esprit Dress
9-10: I've been out of love with this dress for a while but think the Nine West sandals save it...

Casual Top
11: New from the gap. Too Schlumpy?

I really like your Nine West sandals, and they do look great with both dresses. Don't see any "hip issues" in 7-8, the color of the dress is gorgeous and it looks great on you. The Esprit dress is very nice, too.

Both shoes are fabulous; I don't think the first pair is too chunky, and I am totally on Team Non-Chunky shoes. The vintage dress is just gorgeous on you, wear happily and often please I like the Nine West dress, great colors, the cut is nice too, so as long as you like the print (prints feel a bit personal sometimes). The (very) casual top is a good basic tee, does it fill a wardrobe hole? I like the color, and if you wear tees it's certainly handy to have a few that you like in your casual wardrobe.

I like the chunky shoes and think its on trend right now. The two dresses are pretty on you and is very figure flattering.

I love the chunky shoes and the Esprit dress! The other shoes are not my style but they are lovely. The vintage dress is lovely - gives you an hourglass shape!

I LOVE those pumps on you. wow. Both dresses are keepers, too. Great finds. I think that the sandals are nice - a bit higher vamp than I might wear in a sandal, but they're interesting, and they look great with that vintage dress.

I love everything here! I love the chunky heeled shoe - they have presence with an outfit and a slight retro flair, which I love. I also like the sandals - they have visual interest and are a great neutral tone with your skin. The two dresses are DIVINE! and the tee is a great casual piece. Well done!

First let's get clear: the vintage dress DOES NOT, I said DOES NOT disservice any part of you. Au contraire! It is so pretty, demure and sexy all at once, very Mad Men, lots of styling potential. The esprit dress is very cute too when the temperature rises.

Now on to the shoes. That first pair is stunning on your foot! And the picks with your lovely dog next to them is just too much. I understand the shape isn't what you are used to but the real question is: are you comfortable in them? If yes, then I say it's a keep. They look good with both the pants and the skirt.

Nine West shoes: OMG! How can you doubt over these? They are gorgeous, especially with the vintage dress.

As for the Gap top... not a fan. Sorry here. Too shapeless, colour too pale. One good point: its length.

More love here for the pumps! They look fantastic on you! The dresses and sandals are keepers, too. The vintage dress creates a very flattering silhouette. I say keep it all!

I say keep it all. The tshirt is fairly basic but if you love the color and need t's, hard to miss with Gap for quality and comfort.

Excellent, well focused purchases, Emily! Both pairs of shoes are fabulous and versatile. The Vintage dress is stunning, giving you a beautiful, hourglass shape. The Nine West dress has a wonderful print -- I say keep and enjoy. The T has several really positive traits -- half sleeves, which are flattering and good for A/C, a nice length, and the benefit of being the color of the summer (mint is hot!).

The shoes are fabulous! I wasn't sold on the colour of the Nine West sandals with the first dress, but they look good with the second one! I like the vintage dress, but would get rid of the Esprit dress and the Gap top as they're ok for me, but not great. (:

I love the chunky-heeled pumps! I have really come around to liking this style. I think the sandals work on you because you're so young and they DO save the second dress, IMO. The vintage dress accentuates your WAIST, not your hips. the color is stunning on you. The only thing I'm not off the wall thrilled with is the last top, but that may just be an issue of styling it. I'd pair it with skinnies and if it seems too long you could belt and blouse it a bit.

Both pairs of shoes are keepers!

I prefer the vintage dress of the two. I think the alterations give you a lovely hourglass figure.

The tee is great for casual outings.

Those DKNY heels look good with skirt to me not with pants. They are not too chunky. Those Nine West shoes are so beautiful and look good with those dresses. Both the dresses are so beautiful infact the vintage dress in 7-8 make your figure look like an hourglass..There is also no reason to fall out of love of that green dress. Its beautiful. And lastly those casual top is so cool with those jeans. Loved your all shoes and outfits. Lovely.

You ladies are all so kind! Thanks to your comments I am feeling much better about the Vintage dress and will be wearing it with pride. (And maybe fabitude - thanks Suz) I will definitely keep both shoes. The Esprit dress I think I will hang on to, it is comfortable and has held up well. I usually prefer prints that have sharp, geometric lines or are at least more subtle (Good call, Aida) but I do like the colour.

The tee I think will go back, the colour looked kelly green on my monitor, but it is looking a little minty IRL. I could use a second casual top (it is on my list!) but since it isn't urgent I think I will keep my eyes peeled for something green.

I like everything except the nude sandals. I think there are other options out there that would be more modern. These are walking the fine line between stylish and frumpy for me. Everything else is very nice. Love those black pumps especially!
