LP, thanks. Re lint magnet, now that you mention it, yes! I have noticed bits of lint on it. And my hair is mostly light (grey) and I have a white dog.

I'm glad you found both of these. The first one will be excellent for traipsing through the woods, and is both interesting and well made. The second is a great bit of fun --- and if you love the black watch you can keep your eyes open for a replacement that might tick all your boxes! I call items like these "placeholders," and sometimes they end up being beloved items.
