Keep or Return: BR Sloan flares.

I ordered a pair of the BR sloan flares that Angie recommended. These are "black herringbone" and I like the gray! These are 2 sizes. Which do you like better, or is this the wrong fit for me? I often end up with lines across the back of my thighs in pants, and I'm not sure if that is a fit issue.

I also ran aross a pair of Classique Entier wide leg pants at the Rack---unless you tell me otherwise, I think these are keepers! (Even though they are black and I already have black trousers.....)

Obviously these aren't styled and are worn with my running top!

#1-3 BR Sloans in size 8
#4-6 BR Sloans in size 10
#7-#8 Classique Entier wide leg pants

7-8 are real winners, they fit you like a charm! Definitely keepers!
I am not sure about the Sloan trousers. size 8 looks like pulling across in the back but size 10 looks like not the perfect fit either. Sloan fit did not work for me at all in any size so maybe it is just not your cut?
CE trousers are magnificent!

I agree with Sveta - 7/8 are keepers, but return the others. I've had trouble with the fit of BR too

Thanks missvee and Sveta, You are corroborating my gut feeling. I'm glad the Classiques show up even though they are black---I immediately knew that they fit well in the store! I am really uncertain about the Sloans....I would like to find some non-black pants!

Echoing what the others said. YAY on the Classiques; they look super fab. Not so thrilled with the Sloanes on you. I know it is frustrating....

There is YLF unanimity! Love the black trousers, but I think you can find a better fit in another grey trouser. You never know until you try!

If you do keep the grays, go for size 8. The 10s bag all over the place.

Do the Classiques come in other colours? When I find something I really like that fits me really well, I often duplicate in other colours, especially if it's something I have difficulty finding.

JR--I was just thinking the same thing about the Classiques. Unfortunately I got them on clearance at Nordstrom Rack, and I think the style has been discontinues. But I'm going to take another look at this brand!

Like everyone else, I agree that the Classiques are the ones to keep. BR Sloan doesn't seem to be the right fit for you, so those should both go back. I really hope you can find some more Classiques in gray!

The Classiques are fab on you, andi really think they seeing them next ot the Sloans really shows where the Sloans are ot quite right. I would keep looking for a grey pant, but score on the Classiques!

Have you tried the Martin fit for BR? They might be better for you - I've had luck with the Martin's but not Sloan.
Love the look in 7/8 though - super flattering!

Not keen on the fit of the BR trousers but absolutely adore the CE on you. Good luck finding this brand and hopefully other colours.
