Keep or Return?

So I bought this two piece dress yesterday as it reminded me of the Bailey 44 striped dress from Anthro which didn't have my size. What do you think? I didn't think I would like it because...well stripes! yikes!! But I am now on the fence. I am pearish...but tall which helps a lot. Is this too long? What shoes would I wear? Thanks everyone!

This is a very pretty dress on you! You look va-va-voom lovely, not pearish! My only concern is that it seems a little long. It's just that the dress is so cute and slinky, it would be nice to have a bit of leg showing!

Ooh, gorgeous fit. But it does look a little long. On the other hand, if you're going to show some shoulder, maybe you don't need to show legs too. it's a two piece?

Wow, where did you find this?? It's really cool and flattering. Longer than the B44, but you can pull it off. Do you like the maxi length?

I dont know yet about the length. Like I said I am tallish (5'10") and I wear long things a lot. I definitely wouldn't want to wear heels with it....maybe some cute flat sandals for summer? A slit would be a great bonus! Hmmmm....gonna keep thinking about it and see what everyone says...thank you.

I say keep it. You're one of the few who's tall enough to carry off this length and I think it would look great in the summer with some fun black sandals, and maybe an interesting cuff bracelet. It looks super on you!

No kidding! That is va-va-voom! And it's remarkably like the Anthro dress. Personally, I'm OK with the length - tho, I think it's too long for, say, booties. I'd wear oxford pumps.

I really like this on you. A striped maxi-dress says "warm weather" to me, but you might be able to winterize it, I'm just not sure how. Personally, I'd wear it with a denim jacket, sandals and a bright canvas or raffia bag in the spring or summer.

I love this on you, can definitely see with some flat sandals and a cropped denim jacket.

I say 2 pieces make it even better (it fits great on you) if you can break up the pieces a white tee and denim jacket and flat sandals or converse would be cool. The top with a pencil skirt or skinny jeans also good.

I love your dress! It looks really good on you. Two pieces seems great to me since you can split them up and get more mileage out of each piece.
