keep or return?

Continuing my attempts at finding a great fitting pair of eco friendly and ethically jeans that I can wear tucked into boots, I ordered these jeans from Second (http://www.ecolissa.com/Second.....10-004.htm)

What do you think? Do they fit well enough through the knees, and in general, or should I keep looking?

I also ordered this top http://www.etsy.com/transaction/59671333, which I’m pretty sure is going back. It looks fine from the front and the side, but the rear view is awful!

Finally, I found a vintage 70s flowy midi skirt! I’m pretty certain it’s a keeper, but please let me know if I’m wrong.

Jeans are good! I like the skirt too but I agree about the back view of the top. I would return the top. Two out of three...not bad!

I'm a huge fan of a higher rise, especially on a curve figure like yours. And I love the wash of these! I really admire your search so I'm looking at these for myself now. They are gorgeous on you.

I love the skirt, too! I think the mustard tee is a lovely color but I'm not sure about the fit.

Not reading any of the other responses ...
-the jeans have a lot of creases on the back of the thighs which do not appear on the model in the link.
-the top might be good as a layering item, and also looks great with the skirt (which is most certainly perfect and worth keeping). The top just doesn't work as well with the jeans, but that doesn't mean you should send it back if you like the color and it would be useful.

I don't think the jeans are a perfect fit. Certainly if you want to wear it a lot tucked in I would continue looking for a jeans that fits tighter on your legs and doesn't have so much pull up.
I like the top from from the front but agree that it doesn't look great on the back. If you plan to wear it with jackets, you could still keep as I do like the color on you.
I like the skirt. It fits perfectly and would be a really good basic for you so would definitely keep that!

LOVE - Love - love the skirt! Fantastic find! To me the jeans look a little bunched up in the knees and legs - maybe its the boots that are doing that? What do they look like/how do they fit with shoes, rather than tall boots? The color of the shirt is great and I like the style - just maybe isn't the correct size for you? Also, on the jeans - could you possibly go down a size?

The jeans are nice, especially when worn with the long top, but I agree I wouldnt want to wear the top, only because of the rear view (quite like the style and the cut though). The skirt is definitely a keeper!

I think the jeans and skirt are keepers. You look super, Kate. And you do the skinnies tucked into boots look so well. I love the colour of the top on you too, but think it's worth a shot to try the next size up. I like this style a little bit looser.

I like the jeans and especially the high rise, but the bunching up detracts from the overall look. I would try some other skinny jeans with the boots for comparison purposes. Keep the skirt.

I like the jeans and the skirt -- is it possible the skirt is a tad big? Perhaps not, but hard to tell from the photo. It reads as cognac, and if that is the case, I'm all about pairing it with black, as that seems to be my one of my new fashion obsessions!

I don't think the jeans fit right. Too much bunching, on the rear legs and near the front knees especially. The skirt is great. The top I would return.

The color of the top looks great on you, perhaps a larger size? The jeans look good, as long as they don't "grow" (stretch out too much). I like the cut on you. The skirt looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait to see how you style it! Great shopping!

Thanks for all of the advice! I'm definitely keeping the skirt, but the pants and shirt are going back. I don't think the top is worth trying in a larger size, and I can't size down in the jeans because this is the smallest size they make. It fits so well at the waist, but the thighs just aren't right.

Sorry to hear about the jeans. Have you tried Patagonia? They make eco-friendly organic cotton jeans. They don't have jeggings, only bootcuts and what they call a slim cut. Maybe they could be slimmed at the bottom if they are what you are looking for?

Beautiful midi skirt! Nice jeans, they are better in fit than the last pair but still a bit of wrinkling. I find jeans frustrating to fit too.

If you decide to take the jeans back, AG jeans might be worth checking out. I bought a pair this summer that's supposed to be ecofriendly and they ran pretty small. I have a problem with getting sized out of certain brands too!

I am all for keeping the jeans and that wonderful midi skirt. Let's hold out for a mustard top that really makes you feel fab and makes you heart sing!
