Lisa I have bought from Johnny Was and find it generally true to size. I am a JCrew size 4 and have bought items in XS and S from Johnny Was. The XS item was deliberately oversized silk dress, that looked nicer on me in the slightly smaller size.

The quality and detail on their clothing is very good. Lovely materials and well made.

I have several of their pieces, and they do run TTS. I'm usually a minimalist when it comes to embellishments on clothes, but I make an exception for J Was because it's just so darn fun to wear.

thank you for responding ladies. much appreciated. I wanted a tie dyed pullover that was in catalog....I tried to find on line, found not find it!!! called and they could not find....rep said maybe it was sold out? disappointing. don't think as much as I like some of the stuff ill be trying again.

I have purchased Johnny Was items, mostly unstructured jackets and blazers, and find them to run TTS. Sometimes, the sleeve length was a bit short for my very long arms, but that was easily remedied by rolling the sleeves up a bit.
