I didn't know they had those cat accessories; I'm kind of glad, because I would have wanted them desperately (I am a total cat lover), but there is no way I could take the stress. I read on a couple of blogs what happened with the Missoni items, and it was such a turn-off, with people putting stuff on ebay for two and three times the price.

I dearly wish Target would just order a lot more of the accessories for any line, so we could all have a turn.

Bummer. Now almost everything is listed as sold out in my store. (Was honestly feeling lazy and I hate to go to target anyway - it's always a zoo and it's in such a yucky location with nothing else around). Guess I will see if anything shows up back in stock online in a few days. I kind of really want a kitty tote though.

Boston is weird in that there's not really a centrally located, convenient target. They are mostly all in the suburbs and most of them require a car, which I do not have. Interestingly though I think the demand for things like Missoni and Jason Wu is pretty high here. As it is, i have to take a bus to get to the slightly icky one, which is not particularly well-stocked. Meh.

I just got back from the Target out in the suburbs (like Boston, Diana, there really isn't a centrally-located one in the city). There were literally seven items left on the racks. Surprisingly enough, two of those were trench coats--and one of those was in a size medium! I'm not very optimistic about the items I ordered now, however--the trench coat was pretty flimsy and just didn't look or feel expensive in the least. If the dresses are the same, they're going back. I saw one of the shirts I ordered, but in an XL. It looked huge, so I'm wondering if everything runs big. I guess I'll see soon enough. I might decide not to keep the tee-shirt--if I do, Lyn, you have first dibs, and then Marley, you're second in line.

<3 Thanks Steph!

I'm sorry that your trip to Target was not as fruitful as you had planned; did you get the trench?

Went to our Target this morning and there was nothing - NOT because they were all sold out, but rather because they hadn't received any of the merchandise! I was shocked! This Target is one of those super Targets, brand new (opened in October), and is in a really nice neighborhood - plus the next closet Target is at least 20 miles away. I asked a couple of employees why they didn't have any of the J. Wu items and they had no idea. Hmmmm . . . I don't understand.

All I wanted was one of the Cat items - preferably the scarf. If anyone sees any cat items would you please grab me one?

Thank you!

lyn, I didn't get the trench. It didn't look or feel like it was good quality (and I have several trenches, so no need!). The only reason I went to the store was the navy blue dress with the stripe across the bottom, but that was long gone.

Awwes; I am not the biggest fan of the trench. Good for you for having better fabber options in your closet

If anyone happens to get a hold on the kitty tote and / or t-shirt, can you please save it for me?

I got the same dress as GP - in a medium...there was also the grey tee with lace print and it was pretty but I am trying to limit my shopping budget so I didn't buy it. I'm thinking maybe I should have because it's grey and black and would work in my closet better than this dress!

Here's a photo of me in the dress...for the record, 5'5" and (ugh) 150.

It IS thin, but I have a nude slip I can easily wear under it. It will be a great weekend summer/spring dress. I liked the way it looked through the sleeves/neckline. The bit of sheer blue trim adds a nice touch, I think. I wasn't thrilled with the stripe placement but since it is not fitted I think it's not un-flattering?

Oooh, it's quite cute, Jenava!

If anyone sees the cat T in S or M or the cat tote or scarf, grab an extra for me! I'll buy it off you! TIA!

Jenava, that dress looks cute on you! I think I may try mine again, but with a belt. I think I feel better when my waist is defined.

Hey guys, if there's something you missed, you may want to check the Target website again because it looks like a few items are back online. I was able to order the navy poplin dress in size 6 (4 was still not available online though). I'm not sure if it'll be the right size for me--I'm between 4 and 6 and I heard these pieces run large. Crossing my fingers.

I haven't found these pieces to run large at all, but maybe that's just me. I normally wear an XS or S in tops from Target, and my blue polka dot blouse (XS) is a wee bit too small in the sleeves. I generally wear a size 4 or 6 skirt and I bought the pleated one in both sizes but haven't decided which one fits best. I tried the bicycle dress in a S and the fit was pretty much spot on.

Another shopping tip: Be sure to check the fitting room "go back" racks. That's where I found a number of dresses and tops yesterday that people had tried on and decided not to purchase.

Er, is this stuff out? I was not even paying attention! Unlike the Missoni debacle, where I scored big. If anyone is interested in something, my Target may have stuff. Or they may not even have bothered, since we still had Missoni stuff hanging around forever...

I happened to be at Target today (darn cats insisting on eating!), and I saw some of the stuff. It's cute, but I wasn't particularly impressed. Most of it is polyester, which just isn't practical in my climate most of the year. I didn't see any of the accessories, but I also wasn't looking too hard.

Target announced on Twitter that they will be re-stocking some stuff later this week so if you missed out on anything, keep checking!

I went to my store and looked at what was left. Nothing in my size but of the items i could to see i actually ended up liking the pleated black skirt the best. But i am always weary about buying pleated things because i've had bad experiences after washing. They never seem to be the same even with careful ironing...maybe this is a Dryel only type situation?
